Welcome to Fons Voyage — the new lab blog of the Goff Lab in the Johns Hopkins Department of Neuroscience.

We're starting this site as a place to share the in-between work that doesn't fit in a paper: half-finished analyses, methods notes, weird single-cell observations, conference recaps, and the occasional cephalopod sighting.

Expect posts on:

• single-cell and spatial transcriptomics of the developing brain
• the computational scaffolding we build to make sense of it all
• comparative neurobiology, with a soft spot for marine invertebrates
• whatever else seems worth writing down
